Scouting in Evony

In playing the game of Evony one of the main goals is to expand your domain.  Before sending your forces against your foe, you should do a scout to see how many warriors, archers, swordsmen, spears, ballistas, catapults, cavalry, cataphracts the other player has waiting in his castle.

If you don’t have very high informatics, or when defending, a high beacon tower, then you get sketchy or unreliable numbers from your scout reports.  The names below are what the evony developers have put instead of a solid number. 

Few = 1 to 24

Pack = 25 to 49

Lots = 50 to 99

Horde = 100 to 249

Throng = 250 to 499

Swarm = 500 to 999

Zounds = 1,000 to 2,499

Legion = 2,500 to 4,999

Bulk = 5,000 to 10,000

Giga = 10,000 and over
